S’all about white eyeliner right now

It’s that time of year where we all like to talk about the transition between the seasons. We’ve had a little taste of warmer, brighter and all in all more summery weather now… Will it last? Probably not. But that doesn’t mean we should still be clutching the coats and scarves and sticking by our winter makeup routines.

I mean, if we don’t act like its Spring we’re just letting that April snow win… and I’m not about that life.

With any season change, its of course all about the colours you’re switching up. Which is where my new favourite product comes in – white eyeliner.

It’s not exactly a groundbreaking discovery, sure, but you’ll be surprised at how much of a difference it can make.

I’ve always stuck with a traditional black liner, so I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical and actually a little confused as to how I’d manage a white one. Would it even show up? I don’t get it… I also haven’t used pencil eyeliner on my bottom lid since I was about 15 years old. So it was a real step back in time trying not to poke myself in the eye applying it for the first time.

After just one go however it was clear to me why this is having its moment right now. It makes your eyes appear so much brighter and more awake, which can completely transform a day-to-day Spring look or make sure an evening eye stands out.

I’ve used a seriously cheap and cheerful double sided (how convenient) liner from Saffron London, which I’d highly recommend if you’re not sure the white is your thing just yet.

Have you tried out white eyeliner? Let me know what you think!
