Dive In

Despite the fact my August Birchbox arrived in September (seriously guys, sack off Hermes for your delivery plz) they’ve seriously impressed me with the products this month, well… last month. In fact, there isn’t a single one I feel the need to moan about.

The exclusive scuba bag design is a major hit for future storage purposes and sets the tone for the cute summery packaging colours. the buff stuff citrus body scrub (it actually hurts me that they use all lower case for that title) from anatomicals, RRP £3.99, is an immediate eye catcher in its punchy pink tube. I’m already a massive fan of the brand and this grapefruit scrub is perfect for refreshing your skin.

Another super cute packaging award goes to Merci Handy’s Antibacterial Hand Cleansing Gel, RRP £2.90. I received the lollipop scent, which is really sweet. The formula of the gel leaves your hands feeling moisturised as well as clean, which is something you rarely find from an anti-bac.

I always love being able to choose a product, so was very happy when we got the choice of shade for the Macelle Waterproof Eyeliner, RRP £10.50. You could either go for a deep brown ‘Expresso’ or dark purple ‘Mulberry’. I went for the brown, which will be a great addition for autumnal looks. It’s got a decent amount of longevity going for it and creates a nice rich colour along your lash line.

Add in a Morning Dew Matte Finish Moisturiser from amie, RRP £4.95 and a One More Day Dry Shampoo from Philip Kingsley, RRP £14.50 and I really don’t know how you couldn’t be loving this month’s product selection. The moisturiser really helps create that lasting matte finish I’m always searching for, especially when its warm outside and as far as I’m concerned you can never go wrong with a dry shampoo – I’ve always got one in my handbag.

On top of all that, we were also given a little extra in the form of an English Laundry, Notting Hill Eau de Parfum sample, RRP £46. A lot of people aren’t too fond of receiving perfume samples but I love them. I can never ever decide which perfume I like best, so the more choices the better! This has a real fruity/zesty scent, which is perfect for continuing that summer feeling.
